This -was- going to be a full one shot comic for this years comic contest. Unfortunately, because I now have a rather hard and exausting job and my boss likes to schedule me for the most ridiculous hours, I'm not going any further than this which was supposed to be the cover.

Too bad, I really wanted to enter the contest too, oh well.

The basic jist of the comic was about Quaintana's struggle against the Vel'Sharen clan for supremecy. She was going to form an alliance with Beldrobbaen and stuff. Cuz i love the Beldrobbaen clan XD. I was gunna try my hand at drawing like a nice big battle scene and stuff

It was also going to show a possible soft side to Quain. It was going to be told from her perspective, and show how I think she really is. She's a cold hearted bitch for sure, but she's just driven, and she wants the best for her clan and her children. I wanted to show that this battle that she was fighting against the current ruling clan was really hard, and how she secretly feared that if something went wrong, how devestating it would be on her children.

I was going to have the Vel'Sharen fall, but at the cost of Quain's life. Sarghress are now the ruling clan, and Mel takes up the role of Ilharess and rules the drow people in a new light.

I may still do it, on my own time, but it wont be for the contest, thats for sure.
